Camera & Exposure
Shutter Speed
How long each frame is exposed. The cinematic rule of thumb: shutter at double your frame rate — 1/60 for 30fps, 1/48-ish for 24fps. That produces natural motion blur, the invisible ingredient that makes footage feel like film instead of a security camera.
Too-fast shutters on bright days are why drone footage gets that jittery, hyper-real look — the fix is an ND filter, not a settings hack.
Why it matters for your listings
Natural motion blur is half of "cinematic." The 180° rule plus an ND filter is the cheapest production-value upgrade a drone shooter can buy.
