Jump Cut
A cut between two very similar frames — same shot, slightly different moment — creating a deliberate skip. In talking-head content it tightens speech by cutting the breaths and rambles.
Once jarring, now the native grammar of short-form. Cut on energy, not mid-word, and it reads as pace rather than error.
Why it matters for your listings
Your 90-second market update becomes 40 seconds of pure signal. Tight talking-heads get finished; finished gets distributed.
