Drone & Flight
BVLOS
Beyond Visual Line of Sight — flying farther than you can physically see the aircraft. Under standard Part 107 it’s prohibited without a waiver; keeping the drone in sight is a core rule.
For listing work this is nearly irrelevant operationally — you never need to fly out of sight of a house you’re standing at — but it shows up on the 107 exam.
Why it matters for your listings
Know the term for the test, respect the rule at shoots: if you can’t see your drone over that acreage, you’re both illegal and about to buy a new drone.
